A community wind project in Kibbutz Ketura

The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and IREC initiated a project to show that communities can successfully develop and install renewable energy technologies. The project's aim is to build momentum, motivation and the required experience for other communities to follow.

This project is supported by the Oil Change campaign which is linked to the new film Syriana. The producers of this film are trying to motivate the viewers to take action and personally participate in an effort to bring about change. Please see the link bellow for more information.
