Ketura which is lead by the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and
IREC was chosen as one of only 3 projects promoted under the Oil Change
campaign linked to the new film Syriana. The producers of this film are
trying to motivate the viewers to take action and personally participate

& Chief Executive Officer, American Electric Power

Chairman, 2002-2003, to attend and participate in the 2003 e7 summit to
be held October
5-9, 2003. The e7 was formed by some of the largest electric utilities of
G7 countries to deal with concerns related to the core business of the industry
such as Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Social Trust, and Internationalization.
As one of the first recipients of the e7 Sustainable Energy Development
Scholarship, Mr. Ben-Dov is invited to present his initiative to setup a

July 22, 2003 - Ofer Ben-Dov, founder
of IREC, received an invitation from Jack Rosen, President American Jewish
Congress, to attend and participate in the inaugural leadership conference on
energy independence to be held August 26-28, 2003, in Jerusalem. The conference
will address actions and initiatives required to research, develop, and
commercially deploy renewable and efficient energy technologies in order to
improve the energy security of participating nations. The invitation recognizes
that IREC can play a critical role in achieving these goals. For more details on
